Carnivore Waffles from Tactical Kitchen
Ingredients:
- Eggs
- Breakfast Sausage
- Butter
You didn’t think it would be possible to have waffles on the Carnivore Diet? Think again. Made with three simple ingredients, this waffle dish mimics the look of a waffle with Carnivore Diet-compliant ingredients. The breakfast sausage will cook up perfectly in the waffle iron. It might be more omelette than waffle, but it’s still delicious.
Recipe Makes 1 Waffle:
Ingredients:

2 eggs

1/4 cup raw breakfast sausage (this cooks in the waffle iron just fine.)

Coconut Oil Spray
Directions:

In a bowl crack the 2 eggs and whisk into the sausage. This will break the sausage into small bits so that it will cook evenly in the waffle iron.

Spray the waffle iron with Coconut Oil Spray

Pour the contents into the hot waffle iron and close. Let cook for approximately 3-4 minutes
[!WARNING] Keep warm on a plate lined with paper towels in an oven set to 200*F This is important if you are making several since they do "sweat" and can become soggy without this step.
[!NOTE] TOPPINGS We top these with unsweetened peanut butter and Lakanto Maple Syrup For our Carnivore Waffles we purchased a simple Belgian Waffle Iron.
